On the morning of December 24, Guo Fei, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Judiciary Commission, led a research team from municipal political and legal units to Weichai Group for an inspection. Ma Changhai, the Party Secretary and Chairman of Weichai Group, accompanied the research team, along with Hao Jian, Vice Mayor and Director of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, and Li Chengtao, President of the Municipal Intermediate People's Court.
The research team visited the production workshops and laboratories to gain an on-site understanding of the company's production operations, technological research and development, and quality management results. They also listened to a report on the company's development and operational status and held a symposium to solicit opinions and suggestions for future work.
The research team emphasized that the rule of law is the best business environment. All political and legal organs in the city should focus on their respective functions, treat the establishment of a law-based business environment as a key political task, deepen cooperation and coordination, and carry out their duties according to the law. By implementing the "Seven Special Actions", they should fully meet the requirements for optimizing and enhancing the rule of law in the business environment this year. This includes standardizing law enforcement and judicial procedures, optimizing case handling processes, improving service quality and efficiency, and ensuring high-quality development through a strong rule of law framework. The research group emphasized the importance of remaining open to feedback and actively engaging with enterprises, asking them about their needs and seeking their advice. They stressed the need to continue the "Connecting with Hundreds of Enterprises to Optimize the Environment" initiative and the "Enterprises Blow the Whistle, Government Responds" activities. The city and county-level service teams, focused on "Optimizing the Business Environment and Supporting Enterprise Development", should fully leverage their roles, continually introducing new measures to improve the business environment. This should include focusing on key areas and critical aspects of enterprise development. They also called for improving mechanisms for regular communication and consultations on key work, acting as a service provider who only intervenes when necessary, and responding promptly to any requests. They emphasized the need to strengthen government-enterprise collaboration, creating a model of clean and cordial government-business relations that allow entrepreneurs to invest with confidence, operate securely, and focus on entrepreneurship.
