Weifang High-tech Industrial Development Zone Entrepreneurs Association Founded

On December 26, the founding meeting and the first general meeting of the Weifang High-tech Industrial Development Zone Entrepreneurs Association were held, attended by the heads of 92 member enterprises in the zone. The meeting reviewed and approved the "Articles of Association of Weifang High-tech Industrial Development Zone Entrepreneurs Association (Draft)" and the "Weifang High-tech Industrial Development Zone Entrepreneurs Association Election Rules (Draft)," and elected the first leadership body of the Association.

This year, under the strong leadership of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the Weifang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, together with numerous enterprises, has made significant progress, uniting the strength of entrepreneurs and promoting entrepreneurial spirit, with remarkable achievements in both economic and social development. In the first three quarters, 12 key indicators in the zone grew at a rate higher than the city's average, and 14 indicators, including fixed asset investment, total retail sales of consumer goods, imports and exports, and actual utilization of foreign capital, ranked in the top three in the city. The Weifang High-tech Industrial Development Zone has become a key hub for industrial development in the city, with its role as an economically strong district becoming increasingly prominent.

Weifang High-tech Industrial Development Zone has consistently adhered to the principles of "Enterprises First" and "Entrepreneurs First", viewing enterprises and entrepreneurs as the main driving force, primary battlefield, and key foundation for achieving high-quality development. The zone is committed to creating a favorable development ecosystem for a wide range of enterprises and entrepreneurs, ensuring that all enterprises and the Weifang High-tech Industrial Development Zone work together in unity, collaborate effectively, and achieve mutual growth. Currently, the zone is home to 494 high-tech enterprises and 140 service enterprises above the designated scale, both the highest numbers in the city. It also has 230 "Single Champion", "Gazelle", and "SRDI" (specialized-refinement-differential-innovation) enterprises, ranking among the top in the city.

At the meeting, Weifang High-tech Industrial Development Zone encouraged enterprises to strengthen their confidence, expand and enhance their capabilities, continue to invest in digital and intelligent transformation, overcome critical technological challenges, and focus on increasing capital investment, expanding production, and advancing project construction. This will ensure that each project is efficient and of high quality, achieving results with strong capabilities to lead the industry trends. The Party Working Committee and the Management Committee of Weifang High-tech Industrial Development Zone have pledged to continue providing strong support for the development of enterprises, upholding fairness, justice, openness, and transparency as the best business environment. They treat the affairs of enterprises as their own, addressing all requests while ensuring minimal interference when not needed, and resolutely serving as a strong backing for the development of enterprises.
