Tomb-sweeping at Martyr Cemetery in Solemn Atmosphere

At 8 o`clock on the morning of April 2, tomb-seeping activity was launched at the cemetery of revolutionary martyrs in solemn atmosphere.

The attendees included Weifang-based ministry senior officers Li Jingwen, Zhang Qibin, Jiang Jianjun, Xu Zhongbo, Jia Yuezhen, city officials Zhang Xinqi, Zhao Xingtao, Cui Jianping, Hu Gang, Liu Mingke, Zhong Shaolin, Wang Xianling, Qu Xinpei, Xie Weijun, Liu Decheng, Zhang Xiaomei, leading chief of municipal departments and organizations and representatives from Weifang-based Military forces. Hu Gang, standing committee member of CPC Weifang Committee and executive vice mayor, presided over the ceremony.

Hu Gang said with deep feeling that as the traditional tomb-sweeping festival of the Chinese nation is approaching, we gather here with respect to make a tribute to our pioneers and martyrs, recall their marvelous cheat and develop their spirit. We should keep in mind our historical mission, pass down their glorious unfulfilled wish and carry forward the revolutionary tradition to further confirm our ideal and faith and push the great course forward into another victory.

People present at the ceremony made three minutes silence tribute to the martyrs in the solemn atmosphere and placed wreath at the martyr monument with respect.
