On April 11th, delegation headed by Zhou Yuan, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, paid a visit to China Food Valley. Sun Qisheng, member of the standing committee of CPC Weifang Municipal Committee and deputy mayor, attended the relevant activities.
Sun Qisheng made a brief introduction of the functional orientation, industrial distribution and standardization construction of China Food Valley projects to the guests and it is hoped that Zhou Yuan could as always pay close attention to the scientific development in Weifang, recommend more high-quality institutes to set up branches in Weifang, introduce more good innovative products to be transformed in Weifang, strengthen mutual cooperation in establishment of academician workstation and training of professional talents in cold-chain logistics to lay a powerful technological foundation for Weifang’s development.
The delegation paid an on-the-spot visit to Zhongbei Big Kitchen, Zhongkai International Cold-Chain Logistics Park, Headquater Base of China Food Valley successively and learned about the construction and operation of China Food Valley, transportation, storage and refrigerating house design and safety of cold-chain logistics. They gave sufficient affirmative to the construction and prospects of China Food Valley and hoped to strengthen the cooperation in low-temperature projects, new refrigeration techniques with China Food Valley.
