Changda Signs 1.77 Billion Yuan Overseas Contract

Recently, good news has come from the Middle East construction market. Weifang Changda Construction Group Co., Ltd., as the general contractor, won the bid for the Qatar Old Landfill Project through public bidding. The contract scope includes the design, construction, operation, and maintenance related to the closure and site restoration of the landfill. The project is divided into two areas, covering a total area of 4.6 million square meters, with a total contract value of 1.77 billion yuan. The design and construction period for the project is 2 years, while the operation and maintenance period is 3 years.

This project is the first large-scale construction project undertaken by construction enterprises from our city in the Gulf region, following the "Weifang-GCC Countries Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchanges" hosted by the Weifang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. According to the contract, the project has already started the closure of the landfill and the treatment of hazardous gases and liquids.
