Weichai Selected as National Leader in Building up China's Quality Strength

On November 11, the State Administration for Market Supervision hosted the National Conference on Best Practices for Quality-Driven Enterprises in Beijing, themed "Empowering Enterprises through Quality, Creating a Shared Future". As one of the first 34 companies selected by the State Administration for Market Supervision as "Leading Enterprises for Building up China's Quality Strength", Weichai signed the Action Initiative for Building up China's Quality Strength on-site.

Weichai actively upholds the "quality first" development philosophy, vigorously implements the Quality Strengthening Foundation Project, and has made significant achievements in the application of quality technology innovation, leading excellence in quality management, establishing a prominent quality brand, and continuously improving quality efficiency.

Weichai has successively launched the world's first diesel engines with body thermal efficiencies of 50.23%, 51.09%, 52.28%, and 53.09%, leading the industry in four groundbreaking advancements to the highest global technological standards. The company has independently mastered key core technologies, including high-end hydraulic power assemblies for construction machinery and CVT power assemblies for agricultural equipment. Weichai has developed a unique WOS quality management model, which won the Third China Quality Award and was recognized as one of the "Top Ten Benchmark Models" by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. The company also led 130 partners from the industrial and supply chains to establish a research and application community and a corporate credit alliance, working together to drive quality transformation and upgrades across the industry.

Weichai will take the initiative's content as its mission, boldly shoulder the responsibilities of a leading enterprise in the industrial and supply chains, and jointly drive quality reform and innovation across these chains, leading the enhancement of regional quality competitiveness.
