On the afternoon of November 11, the summary meeting on the preparatory work for the 2024 China-Japan-Korea Industrial Cooperation & Development Forum was held at the Comprehensive Office Building of the Municipal Government. Guo Fei, Deputy Secretary of the Weifang Municipal Party Committee, was present and delivered a speech. Di Bo, Vice Mayor of Weifang, presided over the meeting.
The meeting highlighted that the successful hosting of the 2024 China-Japan-Korea Industrial Cooperation & Development Forum effectively advanced cooperation and exchanges with Japan and South Korea, facilitated economic and trade connections, and garnered high praise from attendees and widespread recognition across society. Secretary Liu Yun provided specific acknowledgment and commendation for this success. During the preparatory phase, departments at all levels overcame challenges, demonstrated perseverance, enhanced coordination, and optimized services, ensuring the orderly progression of activities and the forum's high-standard and high-profile execution. The event welcomed over 300 distinguished guests from more than 100 institutions across 28 countries, marking the highest level and participation in its history. This forum adhered to principles of win-win cooperation, cross-sector integration, and the mutual promotion of exhibitions and discussions, embedding internationalization and high-quality standards into every stage. Through comprehensive, multi-faceted, and immersive promotion, it significantly enhanced the visibility and international influence of Weifang. The importance of summarizing lessons learned, improving mechanisms, and enriching content was emphasized to provide valuable insights for future large-scale events.
The meeting recognized and commended outstanding units for their performance in the preparation and organization of the 2024 China-Japan-Korea Industrial Cooperation & Development Forum. Units including the Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Weifang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Linqu County, the Publicity Department of the CPC Weifang Municipal Committee, and the Weifang Public Security Bureau delivered exchange speeches.
