2024 China-Japan-Korea Industrial Cooperation & Development Forum Set for October 17 in Weifang

Recently, with approval from the Shandong Provincial Government, the 2024 China-Japan-Korea Industrial Cooperation and Development Forum is set to be held on October 17 at the Farrington Hotel in Weifang.

This forum is hosted by the Weifang Municipal Government, Japan External Trade Organization, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, and Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat, making it a significant international conference for Shandong province. The forum, themed "Openness and Inclusiveness, Cooperation and Win-Win Results", will host a range of distinguished participants, including former foreign dignitaries, heads of international organizations, leaders from the Japan External Trade Organization, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, and Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat, as well as leaders from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Shandong Provincial Government. Attendees will also include senior officials from the consulates of the three countries, representatives from local governments and business associations of Japan and the Republic of Korea, senior executives of prominent enterprises from the three countries, trade and economic experts and scholars, mainstream media representatives, and representatives from national trade promotion system. The forum will focus on discussions and exchanges regarding the promotion of green, low-carbon, and sustainable development, progress in the development of the China-Japan-Korea Free Trade Zone, high-level implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, and enhancing economic integration and industrial cooperation among the three countries. During the forum, sub-events and related side events will also be held, including the China-Japan-Korea Local Government Cooperation Matchmaking Meeting, China-Japan-Korea Cultural Tourism Exchange Meeting, China-Korea Industry-Academia-Research-Application Cooperation Exchange Meeting, Invest Japan Seminar, and Korea Premium Products Promotion Meeting.
