The Second People's Hospital of Weifang

Founded in 1950, the Second People's Hospital of Weifang has developed to be a comprehensive hospital, concentrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, medical prevention and health care into an integral whole. It is a training hospital for Weifang Medical College, the unique chest hospital in Weifang, the anti-tuberculosis centre of Weifang, the trauma center of Weifang, the Emergency center for traffic accidents of Weifang and the linkage unit of Weifang 110, 120, 122. It is the fixed unit for basic medical insurance both Weifang city and Quiwen district.

The hospital covers an area of 67,000 square meters, with a construction area of 49,000 square meters. There are 400 beds. Now there are 805 staffs in the hospital, 43 organized departments. With a capacity of accommodation of more than 6,000 inpatients, the hospital receives a total of more than 100,000 outpatients annually and over 2,000 patients being operated on.
