Liu Jianjun Coordinates Livelihood Projects and the "Weichai Memory" Project

At locations such as the ICBC Dormitory Community, Jinying School in the Weifang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Yuandu New City Charging Station, the under-bridge space utilization project beneath the Qingping Road railway overpass, and Guanlu Village in the Lebushan Economic Development Zone, Liu Jianjun was briefed in detail on the progress of various livelihood projects, including the renovation of old residential communities, traffic order improvement around schools, construction of charging facilities for new energy vehicles, enhancement of urban micro public spaces, and the improvement of rural water supply security capabilities. He emphasized the importance of thoroughly implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on safeguarding and improving people's livelihood, upholding a people-centered development philosophy, delivering livelihood projects with high quality and efficiency, and continuously enhancing the public's sense of fulfillment and wellbeing.

Along sections including Yuxing Road to Wenhua Road on Wolong Street, Fenghua Road to Weixian Road on Xiangting Street, north of Jincheng Middle School to Yuehe Road on Yongkang Street, Qingping Road to Aoti North Road on Lechuan West Street, and Fenghuang Street to Chongwen Street on Longshan Road, Liu Jianjun inspected the progress of road construction, landscaping maintenance, and travel convenience for residents. At the former Weichai factory site, Liu Jianjun listened attentively to reports on the reconstruction plan. He underscored that the old factory area carries the industrial memory of Weifang's urban development. The planning and construction plan should be finalized as soon as possible, upgrades should be carried out in line with local conditions, distinctive cultural and tourism elements of Weifang should be integrated, and diversified consumption scenarios should be developed. He stressed the need to promote the deep integration of industrial heritage protection with urban culture, local life, and tourism development.
