On the morning of October 19, Liu Yun, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, visited Xiashan District to inspect the "Three Autumns" ("autumn harvest, autumn planting, and autumn field management") agricultural production work. He emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, earnestly carry out the requirements of the provincial party committee and government, firmly shoulder the political responsibility for food security, scientifically coordinate and mobilize various resources, accelerate the improvement of agricultural socialized services, and ensure that all autumn grain is harvested and autumn sowing is completed properly.

In Shangjiazhuang Village, Zhenggong Subdistrict, Liu Yun visited Hongji Agricultural Cooperative, inspected the corn machine harvesting site, and held in-depth discussions with the cooperative's head to learn about harvesting progress, average yield per mu, and preparations for autumn sowing. He also inquired carefully about current difficulties in agricultural production. He pointed out that "Three Autumns" agricultural production is closely related to food security and farmers' income. Departments at various levels should treat it as an important political task, accurately assess the situation, strengthen organizational leadership, clarify and implement responsibilities, and put measures into effect in detail to ensure the success of autumn harvest, sowing, and field management. Close attention should be paid to weather changes and harvest progress, and agricultural machinery should be deployed scientifically and efficiently. Machine harvesting operations should be organized in an orderly manner, while drying, storage, and warehousing work should be coordinated to minimize grain loss and ensure that all autumn harvest is properly stored. Agricultural cooperatives should be fully utilized, with appropriate-scale operations and socialized services such as land transfer and entrusted management developed vigorously. Income protection mechanisms for grain farmers should be continuously improved to effectively increase both yield and income. Preparations for autumn sowing should be thoroughly ensured, the supply of agricultural inputs guaranteed, technical guidance strengthened, and disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities enhanced, providing solid support for stable and high grain yields.
