At the symposium and exchange meeting, Li Qian noted that Hongkou District and Weifang City share a deep historical connection and close ties. He expressed the hope that both sides will further strengthen learning from each other, deepen exchanges, and enhance communication. Liu Yun, on behalf of the CPC Weifang Municipal Committee and the municipal government, thanked Hongkou District for its long-standing support and assistance to Weifang. He noted that Hongkou District occupies an important strategic position in Shanghai's development, connecting east to west and radiating influence north to south. During their stay in Hongkou District, the delegation visited the Design Innovation Institute Shanghai, the Baiyulan Party-Mass Service Station in Beiwaitan Subdistrict, and Shanghai Genetalk Biotechnology Co., Ltd. for study and inspections.
On the afternoon of October 13, Liu Yun attended the Yangtze River Delta Region Listed Companies and Weifang City Industry Matchmaking Conference and delivered a speech. He stated that the Yangtze River Delta region is one of the areas in China with the highest degree of openness, the strongest innovation capacity, and the most dynamic economic development. In recent years, exchanges between Weifang and cities in the Yangtze River Delta have grown increasingly close, yielding fruitful cooperation results.
