Liu Jianjun Conducts On-site Supervision of Autumn Grain Rush Harvest Work

At the corn harvesting sites of Yueqiang Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. and Yingjie Family Farm in Changyi City, Liu Jianjun engaged in discussions with company leaders on grain procurement, drying, and storage. He also visited the fields to carefully assess soil moisture conditions and gather detailed information on the autumn grain rush harvest, the allocation of agricultural machinery, farmland drainage, and preparations for autumn sowing. Liu Jianjun emphasized the importance of thoroughly studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on ensuring national food security. He urged all relevant departments to firmly shoulder their responsibilities, seize the farming season, formulate scientific measures, and meticulously advance all aspects of the "Three Autumns" ("autumn harvest, autumn planting, and autumn field management") agricultural production tasks. He highlighted the need to closely monitor changes in rainfall and water conditions, coordinate the allocation of agricultural machinery, and ensure that all crops ready for harvest are fully collected. Liu also stressed the importance of scientifically classifying crops for urgent harvesting, providing appropriate guidance for late-maturing varieties, and ensuring timely late harvesting and gathering. Liu further emphasized the need for coordinated efforts in drying, airing, autumn grain purchasing, and policy support to effectively boost farmers' enthusiasm for collecting, preserving, and planting grain. He also called for the scientific formulation of autumn sowing plans, strengthening the supply of agricultural materials, and providing technical assistance and guidance to create favorable conditions for autumn sowing, thereby laying a solid foundation for next summer's bumper harvest.
