This year's Harvest Festival, themed "Celebrate Agricultural Harvest, Enjoy a Better Life", adhered to agriculture as the main line, the countryside as the main stage, and farmers as the main body, fully showcasing the city's new achievements in agricultural and rural development. At the event, the lists of Weifang Internet-famous Agricultural Products, Weifang Premium Agricultural Products, Boutique Leisure Agriculture Routes, and Internet-famous Agricultural Product Check-in Spots were released. Awards were also presented to rural internet influencers, gold-medal village secretaries for livestream sales, and the top ten grain-growing experts. Before the opening ceremony, participants visited a series of exhibitions, including the Display and Sales of Famous and High-quality Agricultural Products, the "Rural Revitalization with the Rule of Law" Legal Awareness Exhibition, the Seed Industry Innovation Achievements Exhibition, and the Smart Agricultural Equipment and Technology Exhibition.
In recent years, the city has earnestly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourses on work related to agriculture, rural areas, and farmers. Guided by the expansion and innovation of the "three models" (Zhucheng model, Shouguang model, and Weifang model), Weifang has focused on building a pilot zone for the Qilu model of rural revitalization and accelerating the development of a strong agricultural city. Rural industries have flourished, the rural landscape has been revitalized, and farmers' lives have significantly improved. Going forward, the city will continue to secure grain production and ensure stable production and supply of key agricultural products. It will further promote agricultural efficiency, raise farmers' incomes, and stimulate rural vitality, continuously enhancing farmers' sense of fulfillment and happiness. Weifang will strive to compose a new chapter in strengthening agriculture and advancing the high-quality development of the "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" undertakings and comprehensive rural revitalization.
