The meeting emphasized the importance of shouldering the responsibility of being a major economic driver, embedding Weifang's development within the broader national and provincial development framework, accurately identifying the city's strategic position, and effectively balancing national needs, Weifang's capabilities, and future direction. It stressed the need to fully understand the phased requirements of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, emphasizing foresight, strategic thinking, and feasibility. The development of new quality productive forces tailored to local conditions should be given a prominent strategic position. Benefiting the people must remain the fundamental value orientation, and major projects and platforms should be planned thoroughly and effectively.
