Weifang Holds Government-Bank Liaison Meeting

Zeng Tao emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on financial work, to fully understand the political and people-oriented nature of financial work, and to effectively carry out the "five major financial tasks". He called on financial institutions to strengthen confidence, take initiative, tackle challenges, enhance coordination, and improve the quality and efficiency of financial services for the real economy. He also urged financial institutions to further increase support for Weifang and optimize the supply of high-quality financial resources. He encouraged Weifang to continue improving its financial ecosystem, create a better environment for financial institutions, and make greater contributions to the province's overall development.

Liu Jianjun expressed gratitude to the relevant provincial departments and units for their support to Weifang's development. He said that Weifang will earnestly implement the work plans of the provincial party committee and government, firmly shoulder primary responsibilities, and actively maintain a safe and stable financial environment. He urged financial institutions to continue expanding credit, constantly innovate financial products, and provide more vital financial resources to support the development of the real economy.

At the meeting, the progress of government-bank cooperation in Weifang was presented. Officials from relevant provincial departments offered comments and suggestions, and some provincial financial institutions as well as officials from counties, cities, and districts in Weifang shared their views.
