The opening ceremony of the Celebrity Calligraphy and Painting Gallery-a large gallery established by the Chinese Celebrity Magazine and the Chinese Celebrity Club, was held in the Qilu Culture and Antique City on the morning of September 23 when the exhibition of the well-known Chinese artist Mr. Li Taiping's calligraphy and paintings was held here simultaneously. Mr. Li Benyue, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of Weifang People's Congress, attended the ceremony.
On the ceremony, works of dozens of master calligraphers and painters such as Qigong, Shen Peng, Zhang Hai, Zhou Huimin, Ouyang Zhongshi, Fan Zeng, Zhao Wangjin and Zhang Mingkuan were exhibited in the gallery.
Mr. Li Taiping was born in an artist family in Weixian County, Hebei Province and started his calligraphy training from early years. He pursues a style of virility, sophistication and strength and formed his unique style after studying and modeling ancient works. Mr. Li Taiping has held three exhibitions in Tokyo Japan with far-reaching influences.
