China (Weifang) Contemporary Animal Husbandry Expo.

On April 4, 2010 China (Weifang) Contemporary Animal Husbandry Expo was held in Fuwah International Exhibition Hall. Wang Xianling, Standing committee member of CPC Weifang Committee and vice mayor, attended the ceremony and addressed the audience. Attendees also included Wang Yongxing, deputy director of the standing committee of Weifang Municipal People`s Congress, and Du Guozhong, vice chairman of Weifang Committee of CPPCC.

Wang Xianling said that Weifang is a major city of animal husbandry. In 2009, total output of meat, eggs and dairy food was 2.3 million tons and exported live-stock products were 50,000 tons, earning 300 million USD with animal husbandry and related industries totaling RMB 76.7 billion yuan. Animal husbandry has become our pillar industry in rural economic development.

Wang stressed that the success of this Expo will surely put in more vigorous strength to the rapid development of our animal husbandry industry. We warmly welcome investors, entrepreneurs from home and abroad and people from all walks of life to make their start-up here and bring a win-win.

At the Expo, intended turnover was more than RMB 500 million yuan.
