Preparation Work for Kite Festival Award Ceremony Progressing in Binhai

The award ceremony for the 30th Weifang International Kite Festival will be held at the Valentine's Bay tourism resort area on the morning of April 23. The ceremony will combine with the art performance to highlight the special features of Binhai area by stressing its kite element and ocean element through the stage design, art performance and speeches, and display the new image and achievements of Binhai area.

This art performance will be undertaken by Shandong Xinhuan Housing Group Co., Ltd, which will be market-oriented with the tickets being sold openly to the public. Zhang Mingmin, Wuzhou Girls, Yu Hang, Guo Feng, Li Jin and some other famous artists will join in and the host from CCTV will preside over the art performance. Along with the art performance, the kite-flying delegations from home and abroad will conduct land and sea kite-flying performance. And CCTV will conduct site interviews and coverage of the art performance.

To ensure a successful award ceremony, Weifang Binhai Economic-Technological Development Area has taken multiple measures to advance the preparation work. By now, the preparation work of the art performance, ground flattening, road construction, tickets selling, press publicity, safety guard are ongoing smoothly.
