Expand Cooperation Opportunities and Enhance Effectiveness

Recently, it was reported by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Weifang Committee that during the 2024 China-Japan-Korea Industrial Cooperation Development Forum, Weifang will host two sub-events: the Cross-border E-commerce Ecosystem Optimization Seminar and the Korean Premium Products Promotion Conference. These events aim to expand cooperation opportunities and enhance effectiveness by focusing on specific sectors and directions.

The Cross-border E-commerce Ecological Optimization Seminar will be held on the morning of October 17 at the Fuhua International Conference Center in Weifang. The event is organized by Weifang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Shandong University and CCPIT. Themed "Inspiring the Global Trade Chain to Build a New Ecology of Digital Trade", it will leverage the expertise of Weifang Cross-border Trade (E-commerce) Industry Research Institute, Shandong University. Leading companies and renowned experts from China, Japan, and South Korea will be invited to exchange ideas on optimizing the e-commerce ecosystem, focusing on the integration of platforms, logistics, overseas warehouses, and industrial clusters across borders, as well as exploring effective paths and cooperation opportunities for high-quality regional cross-border e-commerce development. The seminar will bring together experts and professors from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Shandong University, along with top representatives from leading cross-border e-commerce companies and platforms, to share successful experiences and explore new opportunities for the development of the cross-border e-commerce industry.

The Korean Premium Products Promotion Conference will be held at the Business Center in the Comprehensive Bonded Zone on the morning of October 17. The event includes two main parts: a visit to the Weifang Imported Goods Purchase Exhibition and Sales Center and the promotion session. During the promotion session, the Qingdao office of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency will present Korean products, while the Comprehensive Bonded Zone will introduce the development of the cross-border e-commerce industry. Interested companies will engage in targeted business matching and product experiences on-site. The event will invite Chinese enterprises in the city with purchasing and cooperation intentions toward South Korea, along with key executives of major local cross-border e-commerce companies. This aims to enable more consumers to enjoy aesthetically pleasing and high-quality products, enhancing their quality of life.
