The Standing Committee of the CPC Weifang Municipal Committee Convenes Meeting to Convey and Study the Guiding Principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping's Important Article, and Deliberate on Legislative Work and Other Matters

The meeting emphasized that General Secretary Xi Jinping's important articles, speeches, and replies are highly political, ideological, and instructive, providing scientific guidance and fundamental principles for carrying out related work. It is essential to study, understand, and implement them in depth and in light of local realities. Efforts should be made to build a shared spiritual home for the Chinese nation, incorporate the forging of a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation into the education system for Party members and cadres as well as the national education system, deeply explore and interpret Chinese cultural symbols with Weifang regional characteristics, and effectively tell Weifang's story of the Chinese national community in Weifang. The Committee called for coordinated planning and promotion of ethnic affairs alongside economic and social development. It emphasized the need to continuously deepen the establishment of ethnic unity and progress, and to strengthen the sense of gain, happiness, and security among people of all ethnic groups. Measures were emphasized to ensure the strict implementation of ethnic policies, the continued intensification of efforts to identify and resolve conflicts and disputes, and the full safeguarding of political stability, social stability, ethnic unity, and a favorable environment for economic development. It also highlighted the importance of strictly implementing the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, advancing comprehensive education reform in depth, and coordinating efforts to consolidate the strengths of basic education, improve the quality of vocational education, and elevate the level of higher education, thereby using educational strength to solidify the foundation for Weifang's development. In addition, the Committee urged the thorough implementation of the Women's achievement action, the improvement and perfection of mechanisms for safeguarding women's rights and combating violence, the provision of care and assistance with dedication and compassion, and the promotion of women's contributions to the building of a better Weifang.

A report on the legislative situation of home and community elderly care services in Weifang was heard, emphasizing the need to intensify key interpretations and publicity, carefully organize implementation, strengthen supervision, guidance, and law enforcement inspections, and ensure the regulations are effectively implemented.
