On September 15, the Party Leadership Group of the Weifang municipal government held a meeting to convey and study the guiding principles of General Secretary Xi Jinping's recent important speeches, congratulatory remarks, congratulatory letters, and reply letters; to summarize the study and education activities carried out by the Party Leadership Group in thoroughly implementing the central Party leadership's eight-point decision on improving work conduct; and to arrange the next phase of work. Liu Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the Weifang Municipal Party Committee, Mayor of Weifang, and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Government, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.

It is essential to study, understand, and implement them in depth and in light of local realities. It called for inheriting and carrying forward the great spirit of the War of Resistance, deeply understanding its rich connotations, drawing strength for progress, and continuously opening up new prospects for economic and social development. It urged efforts to deepen reform and expand opening up, strengthen the functions of open platforms such as the National Agricultural Comprehensive Zone and comprehensive bonded zones, and use high-standard opening-up to drive high-quality development. It emphasized the acceleration of artificial intelligence development, the promotion of its deep integration with industrial transformation, government services, and social governance, and the cultivation of new quality productive forces. It also stressed the need to provide education that satisfies the people, deepen comprehensive education reform, and accelerate the building of a modern and strong city in education. The meeting emphasized that since the launch of study and education activities to implement the central Party leadership's eight-point decision on improving work conduct, the Party Leadership Group of the municipal government has regarded them as a major political task.
