Liu Yun welcomed Cao Huiquan and his delegation, and introduced the economic and social development of Weifang. He said that both Weifang and Zhuzhou are cities built on industry and known for manufacturing, with solid industrial foundations, abundant innovation momentum, and strong upward trends. He noted that Weifang is thoroughly implementing the important instructions delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Shandong, earnestly carrying out the decisions of the CPC Central Committee and the work requirements of the provincial party committee and government, aiming to "take the lead to be a mainstay", making every effort to stabilize growth, improve quality and efficiency, promote reform, prevent risks, and benefit people's livelihood, while accelerating the building of a stronger, higher-quality, and more livable Weifang. He expressed hope that both sides would further strengthen communication and exchanges, enhance coordination in enterprise collaboration, industrial linkage, and scientific and technological innovation, deepen cooperation in developing and expanding industries such as power equipment, new-generation information technology, and Beidou, accelerate the cultivation and growth of new quality productive forces, and make greater contributions to national development.

Cao Huiquan congratulated Weifang on its development achievements and introduced the development situation of Zhuzhou. He said that both Zhuzhou and Weifang are cities dominated by advanced manufacturing and share an innovative and creative spirit. He noted that Weifang has accumulated valuable experience in industrial cluster cultivation, modern agriculture, technological innovation, and vocational education, which Zhuzhou could learn from. He expressed hope that this inspection and study visit would serve as an opportunity to further deepen practical cooperation with Weifang in industry, agriculture, and education, strive to create landmark cooperative achievements, and work together to elevate bilateral cooperation to a new level and open up new prospects.
