Advanced Deeds of "Qilu Model of the Times" Zhang Junqiao Released

During his lifetime, Zhang Junqiao served as Associate Chief Physician of the Department of Anesthesiology at the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong Second Medical University, a faculty member at the Anesthesiology College of the University, leader of the 27th Chinese medical team to Tanzania, and Secretary of its temporary Party branch. Throughout his medical career, he treated and saved patients, taught and nurtured talent, and brought the great love of a doctor to Africa. On June 15, Zhang Junqiao heroically sacrificed his life in Tanzania while rescuing local people who had fallen into water, at the young age of 38. The Publicity Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee called on all Party members, cadres, the public, and the youth across the province to learn from and promote Zhang Junqiao's exemplary deeds and lofty spirit, remain grounded in their duties, strive for excellence, contribute to society, and make unremitting efforts to write the Shandong chapter of the Chinese path to modernization.

The release ceremony was hosted by the Publicity Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Office of the Foreign Affairs Committee, the Provincial Youth League Committee, the Provincial Department of Education (Education Work Committee of the Provincial Party Committee), the Provincial Health Commission, the Weifang Municipal Party Committee, Dazhong Newspaper Group, and Shandong Radio and Television Station.
