Liu Jianjun Presides Over the Executive Meeting of the Municipal Government

The meeting pointed out that ensuring safety in the chemical industry concerns the safety of people's lives and property, as well as the overall stability of economic and social development. It stressed the need to strengthen bottom-line thinking, adopt a problem-oriented approach, refine goals and measures, ensure the implementation of special rectification tasks, and continuously improve the intrinsic safety level of the chemical industry. Coordinated efforts are required to ensure work safety, flood control, and drought relief, so as to create a safe and stable development environment.

The meeting emphasized that high-quality handling of proposals from municipal people's congress deputies and municipal CPPCC members is a statutory duty of the government. Attention should be focused on key proposals, with continuous efforts to improve handling methods, enhance the quality of responses, and solve practical problems, so as to elevate the overall handling work to a new level.

The meeting stressed that livelihood projects are directly related to the vital interests of the people.
